Biography

Stefan was born and raised in Sydney NSW.  At 15 years old he was inspired to take up drumming after listening to his first Led Zeppelin album.  He then joined his first garage band and was performing in working bands by the time he was 17.

Stefan went on to perform in original bands around Sydney, including 1 year with “Hole in the Wall”, 2 years with “The Contractors”,  and 2 years with “Prana Majik”  When he was 23 Stefan formed “Whole Lotta Zep” and at 32 toured around Australia with Phil Emmanuel.

Travelling around the country Stefan has often worked as a fill-in drummer, playing with many musicians such as Andrew Thompson and James Blundell. After living in Darwin and Arnhem Land, Northern Territory for 6 years Stefan has recently moved back to the Sunshine Coast .

Stefan joined Genexis in August 2018 jumping straight into playing live gigs.  Stefan’s fast hard rock drumming and exceptional rhythm, creates a unique style, vigour and pace to Genexis as they ‘rip’ through your favourites.
